Pastor Bell's Words To Live By

When Elisha received the mantle from Elijah the rest of the prophetic company knew this. They recognised that there was something different about Elisha. Having been in the company of the great man the anointing and the double portion was now resting on him. Probably Elisha did not feel any different from he did the day before, however his colleagues recognised the anointing on his life and declared “the spirit of Elijah rest on Elisha” 2kings 2:15.  Our associations dictate the anointing that rests on us. We may not be able to recognise it but others will. We are reminded that bad company corrupts good manners (1Cor 15:33). So today let us be very careful who we associate with and seek God before taking on the mantle of others.
